Board Member needed!

 Here is some information about being a board member.
The library board is a volunteer position appointed by current board members and approved by the city council. You would need to attend at least 10 monthly meetings a year, and volunteer to help with community events sponsored by the library or friends of the library group. Our meetings are held on a Monday night at 6 PM once a month, we choose the date at the previous meeting. They usually last one to two hours. Some of the events that we host are Collins Days lunch, Easter egg hunt, cookies with Santa, community breakfast and some various fundraisers.
